February 29, 2016 (My first time to see a lot of Philippine Army closely)

Leap Year! haha. I feel better now after being sick for 3 days so I can already travel in going back to San Miguel, Las Navas. Before I travel I went first to the Division Office for some papers that I need to pass. It took me a long time there and I really feel sorry for my co-teachers who are waiting for me for about 1 hour already.
But I just wanna share something today that really makes me into tears :'( God is really good. I'm forever grateful for the Lord's guidance for me. I know that He has a great and a lot of plan for me. So yesterday was Sunday and usually I travel Sunday after the church service so that I can arrive early in my working station because it's a 7 hours trip. But I still feel sick and though I know that traveling Monday means 1 day absent, I didn't hesitate to make a decision and  I stayed. Upon traveling on Monday, I was also late to arrive in Las Navas because of the papers I need to submit. I just said sorry to my co-teachers who were waiting for me in the boat.
As we already arrived in San Miguel, we observed that the place was so quite and there are a lot of Philippine Armies. We're so curios on what had happen. Our co-teacher Sir Albert Pincalen told us everything. He told us that just a minute left, there were fire guns cause by the Philippine Army and NPA. And what's worst is that, it happen inside the school. tsktsk! They shouldn't do that! The army visited the baranggay but the NPA saw it so they started the fire and they did it inside the school campus. There is still a class that time and all the students' ran and cried. They went to the office and hide. Kuya Albert told me "Marjorie, it's good that you're not here because the classroom that was mostly shot by guns is in the room that you're teaching. You're not there, so student's are not there also. If you're there, for sure it will kill you as well as the students." Everything happen in just a blink of an eye. I know that the feeling of uneasiness was meant by God, as well as the many documents that I need to pass which also caused me to arrive late in Las Navas. The Lord wants to protect us. I'm forever grateful for this guidance and protection I received this day. Kuya Phillip said "May purpose talaga na naghintay kami ng matagal sayo Marjorie. God is so Good." Yeah, God is really good. I'm forever grateful for this experience. What a strengthening testimony! :) I really feel grateful in my heart.
